G-Portals from ConjextX

ConjextX are pleased to annouce a new initiative to launch their G-Portals, WAP sites that contain links to Genuinely Useful WAP applications that you can think of as your one-stop-shop launch pad into the Mobile Web.

Mobile-phone keypads, time-honoured and essential for keeping devices small and compact, are notoriously difficult to enter URLs with. You can think of G-Portal domains as URL short-codes that get you straight to the action (da.gp), often more quickly even than bookmarks. Simply pressing the keys 32147 in that order when entering a URL gets you straight to our portal.

There are many reasons why using the web on your mobile phone is such an unrewarding experience; lots of effort for very little gain. We're going to change that by developing our Content Delivery Platform to make writing mobile applications much easier, and using this platform we'll launch our G-Portals; your one place that guarantees access to useful services, some created by us, and some created by other companies. 

Our unique value that we bring to the mobile world are our G-Portal domains. These are domains that are so easy to remember and to use on your mobile phone that they're virtually impossible to forget. This means that the services we're promoting will always be available to you, regardless of what network operator you use, what country you're in, or even if you're using someone else's phone.

We believe that the Mobile Web is such a large market that the more people creating useful content, the better the mobile experience for you. There's lots of room for developing new ideas and services.
